How much does counseling cost?

The suggested donation for a one hour counseling session is $110.

What kind of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Visa, Discover, and Mastercard.

How long are sessions and how often do we meet?

A typical counseling session is one hour, one day per week. It may vary depending on the individual needs and the distance traveled to get here.

What are your office hours?

The office is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST).

How do I make an appointment for counseling?

Call the office and set up a time to talk to Sam Gingerich, the administrator. Sam will want to know what your needs are; he will decide which counselor will be best suited for you and check to see when they would have an opening.

Do you have evening and weekend appointments?

Most counseling sessions are scheduled during the day between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some counselors may take an occasional early evening appointment. We do not offer Saturday hours.

What kind of clients do you see?

We do serve people from all walks of life; however, approximately 90% of our clients are conservative Anabaptist (Amish, Mennonite and Brethren) or have family roots among those groups.

Can I bring children along to my counseling session?

Children that are old enough to be without supervision or younger children supervised by a baby-sitter are welcome. Having infants or toddlers in the counseling room can be distracting and is not encouraged.

Do you have a waiting list?

Generally there is a waiting list. When you call in to schedule an appointment, Sam Gingerich, the administrator, will inform you how soon there may be an opening.
