Mary was born and raised in northwestern Ontario to missionary parents. After marrying Mark Petersheim, they served together for twenty-three years with Northern Youth Programs. Their home was blessed with six children. She views her role as wife and mother as her highest calling.
In 2007, Mary graduated from Providence Theological Seminary in Manitoba with a master’s in counseling, and in the following years she worked part-time with her husband in the counseling ministry. In 2023, the family moved to Conestoga, PA, and Mary joined the counseling team in January of 2024.
Mary is honored to journey with women dealing with loss and grief and loves to see God bring hope out of pain and darkness.
